Whitewater State Park

MidWinter Frolic's Venue!

This is a gorgeous canyon carved by swift running brooks that cut through dolomite cliffs. This creates a secluded canyon protected from the harsh winds of the plains with a year round open water creek. This is the perfect place to play in the snow, take pictures, or observe wildlife, with or without fursuit.

We will be eating and sleeping in the rustic Whitewater State Park Group Center. These 7 cabins surround a central commons area with a large event lodge on one corner and mens/womens bath house on another corner. This group center is ours for the weekend so this entire area will be fursuit friendly all weekend.

Don’t forget, you will need to register your vehicle with the park prior to arrival. You can do this in the office of the welcome center between the hours of 9am-3pm, online, or if you get the yearly pass from any minnesota state park within a year of the event. May we suggest taking a private summer camping trip to Whitewater State Park to preview the place and get your permit then. You can get more information of vehicle permit below.
