MidWinter Frolic (MWFrolic) is a presentation of Minnesota Furs (MNFurs). MNFurs is a non-profit, 501(c)3 volunteer organization focused on the education, promotion, and celebration of anthropomorphic art and its associated community. We host a series of year round events ranging from small get togethers, larger picnics and holiday celebration, and up to our yearly convention, Furry Migration.
MWFrolic is one of these events. This event concept started life as Werecamp, a camping event collaboration between MNFurs and one of our community members. Over time, this member decided to refocus the event as a non-Furry, more outdoor event. We are glad to have helped him with his experiment.
This left our Furry community wanting an outdoor winter event. It needed not to be a convention, but a low-key, volunteer-driven event. So, MWFrolic is a reboot. The local Furry community has learned from Werecamp, and is refocusing for a relaxed, intimate weekend.
